Man arrested after drugs and cash find in Sligo
This evening a woman in her 20s was arrersted after another €45k worth of canabis resin was discovered in another house in the area. The pair are being held at Ballymote garda Station.
A 53-year-old man has been arrested in Sligo after a major drugs and cash find.
Officers found cocaine and cannabis when they stopped and searched a car on Langan Drive yesterday evening.
Follow up raids on homes in the town revealed more drugs, as well as a stash of cash worth over €91,000.
The drugs are believed to have a street value of over €24,000.
A 53-year-old man is being questioned this evening at Ballymote Garda Station.
