A man charged with the murder of his parents in Donegal has been remanded in custody at a court hearing in Castlerea Prison.

A man charged with the murder of his parents in Donegal has been remanded in custody at a court hearing in Castlerea Prison.

Julian Cuddihy (aged 42) of Churchtown, Carndonagh, Donegal faces two charges of murder of Kathleen and Jimmy Cuddihy on October 22 at that address.

Mr Cuddihy was not present in Harristown District court this morning.

It is understood that the accused has been receiving medical treatment in custody.

Judge Geoffrey Browne remanded him to appear again at Harristown District Court on December 19.
