Gardaí are investigating a fatal road accident which took place at Labane, Ardrahan, Co Galway last Monday.

Gardaí are investigating a fatal road accident which took place at Labane, Ardrahan, Co Galway last Monday.

A 47-year-old male pedestrian was hit by a truck and was removed to University College Hospital Galway, where he passed away early this afternoon.

Gardaí have appealed for any witnesses to this collision to contact Gort Garda Station on 091 - 636400, The Garda Confidential Telephone line 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.
