A section of the N3 Navan Road in Dublin has reopened this morning, following a serious crash last night.

It was closed outbound between the Baggot Road Junction and the Ashtown Roundabout to facilitate a Garda technical examination.

It is believed one person was taken to hospital following the crash.

Diversions were in place overnight, but they have since been removed and the road is now open to traffic this morning.
