An apartment block in Dublin has been evacuated after a fire broke out in the underground car park.

An apartment block in Dublin has been evacuated after a fire broke out in the underground car park.

The alarm was raised at Abbey Glen on the Johnstown Road in Cabinteely at around a 5.45am this morning.

It is believed the blaze started in a vehicle in the car park.

Five units of Dublin City Fire Brigade attended the scene, and the blaze was brought under control at around 7.10am.

No-one was injured in the fire.
