Fianna Fáil denies distributing list of children accused of anti-social behaviour

Fianna Fáil's Justice spokesperson Niall Collins has said that his party was not responsible for distributing a list containing the names of children allegedly involved in anti-social behaviour in Tallaght in Dublin.

Deputy Collins was addressing a meeting in the Dublin suburb when the list was distributed.

Parents of those named have denied their children are involved in criminal behaviour and are now worried they will be targeted by vigilantes.

Deputy Collins said that his party was not behind the list and there was no discussion of its contents at the meeting.

"All I can tell you is that, from the point of view of the meeting, which was held in Tallaght, that wasn't discussed on the night at all, and it didn't encompass any part of the Fianna Fáil public meeting," he said.
