A man in his 30's has been arrested in connection with the death of an inmate in Cork Prison last weekend.

A man in his 30's has been arrested in connection with the death of an inmate in Cork Prison last weekend.

41-year-old Graham Johnson died from a stab wound received during a row in the prison kitchen last Saturday.

Cork Prison

Gardaí from Mayfield arrested a man in his 30's at the prison this morning.

He can be held for up to 24 hours.
