Man hit by vehicle during Cork dispute

Gardaí are investigating as suspected endangerment an incident in Whitegate village in East Cork.

The incident occurred shortly after 1.30pm today when a man in his 30s was struck by a vehicle during a dispute involving a second man.

The injured man was taken by ambulance to Cork University Hospital.

His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

A man in his 20s was arrested by Gardaí.
