A 24-year-old man has been arrested after a major drugs and firearms seizure in Dublin.

A 24-year-old man has been arrested after a major drugs and firearms seizure in Dublin.

Cannabis and ecstasy tablets worth around €250,000 were found by officers in two houses in Tallaght yesterday.

Five guns and ammunition were also recovered.

A 24-year-old man is expected to appear before Tallaght District Court in the morning, while a 33-year-old woman will appear before a judge later this month.
