In addition to witnesses to the collision, Gardai are also seeking the public's assistance in relation to the movements of a green Renault Kango van, 07-D registration, both before and after the collision.

Investigating Gardai say significant progress has been made in relation to this case.

A van has been seized and is being examined, and the driver of the van has been identified and is assisting Gardai with the investigation.
