Gardaí are today carrying out a search at a landfill site in Wicklow in relation to the murder of Kenneth O’Brien.

Gardaí entered the dump at Ballynagran, just off the M11, west of Wicklow town shortly after 9am.

It is understood that gardaí believe parts of Mr O'Brien's remains could be hidden at the site.

Yesterday Gardaí arrested two men in connection with the murder of Mr O’Brien, whose dismembered torso was found dumped in a suitcase in the Grand Canal on January 6.
