Gardaí are seeking the public's assistance in tracing the whereabouts of 53-year-old Alan Donohue missing from Cork City since Tuesday 3rd May 2016.

Gardaí are seeking the public's assistance in tracing the whereabouts of 53-year-old Alan Donohue missing from Cork City since Tuesday 3rd May 2016.

Alan was last seen on Henry Street, Cork City Centre on Tuesday morning May 3, 2016 at approximately 8.15am.

Alan is described as being 6ft in height, of strong build with grey receding hair and brown eyes.

When last seen Alan was wearing a tan coloured 3/4 length trench coat and dark blue jeans.

Gardaí are concerned for Alan’s welfare and anyone with information is asked to contact Anglesea Garda Station on 021 4522000, The Garda Confidential Line, 1800 666111 or any Garda Station.

Update (May 8, 6.08pm): Alan Donohue has been found safe and well.
