Mairia Cahill to meet Taoiseach over abuse claims

Mairia Cahill will discuss her abuse allegations with the Taoiseach at government buildings this morning.

She claims she was raped by an IRA member at the age of 16 and has made a series of allegations against Gerry Adams about how he dealt with her case.

Mr Adams has repeatedly denied the claims, but yesterday acknowledged for the first time that there was an IRA link to her abuse.

The meeting will get underway at Government Buildings at 10am.
