Limerick gears up for Pride Parade
The Limerick Pride Parade is taking place this afternoon.
Senator Katherine Zappone and Dr Ann Louise Gilligan are among the main speakers at the LGBT event in the city.
They are taking a case against Ireland to recognise their marriage, which was conducted in Canada.
The proceedings are on hold, pending the outcome of the referendum on same sex marriage next year.
