Lucky lotto player wins €200k on scratch card in Killarney

The luck was flowing in Killarney this week when Kerry man Ljatif Saiti won €200,000 on his All Cash Spectacular scratch card.

Ljatif was in his hometown Killarney when he strolled into Healy's Newsagent and purchased a scratch card on Monday.

Mr Saiti, who is originally from Kosovo, told the National Lottery how he buys a scratch card every week and takes it home to scratch it, but not this time.

“This time however, I scratched it there and then in the shop and I saw my number matching up with the €200,000 prize. I quickly handed it back to the shopkeeper to check that I was'nt dreaming.”

Ljatif moved to Killarney in 1999 and said it is an “unbelievable win” for his family.

“This is all still new to us. We will enjoy the win first and then we will decide on what to spend the money on. We have four beautiful children so it is important that their future is the priority.”

The National Lottery All Cash Spectacular is a €10 scratch card which has over €10,000,000 in cash prizes on offer. There are two top prizes of €200,000, one of which is still up for grabs.
