The Association of Garda Sergeants and Inspectors say "no progress" has been made in talks with Government to avert further industrial action.

A second day of action by middle-ranking gardaí begins this Friday at 7am for 24 hours.

The AGSI negotiating team are due to meet Department of Justice officials again tomorrow morning marking the third face-to-face meeting in six days.
