A man who was stabbed at a Swedish House Mafia gig in the Phoenix Park in Dublin in 2012 has settled a case against the organisers of the event.
Niall Davey of Castleknock Drive in Castleknock, Dublin, sued organisers after being beaten up at the event.
He claimed anti-social behaviour by a group of men went on for two hours at the July 7th concert before he was assaulted and stabbed in the back.
One man died while nine others were injured.
Freelance Music Journalist is Eamon Sweeney: “One man died his name was Shane Brophy, he was from County Laois, only 21, of a suspected drug overdose.
“And nine people were stabbed.
“It is certainly one of the worst concert atrocities that has happened here in years.
“And incidentally, and it wasn’t widely reported at the time, the following weekend at a Swedish House Mafia show again, there was three stabbings.
