A man has died after a single-vehicle road accident in south Dublin.

Young man dies after Loughlinstown collision

A man has died after a single-vehicle road accident in south Dublin.

The 23-year-old died after his car hit a pole on the M11 at Loughlinstown at around 9am this morning.

He was brought to St Columcille's Hospital in Loughlinstown but was pronounced dead a short time later.

Gardaí in Shankill are appealing for witnesses.
