Man dies after motorcycle crashes into wall in Limerick

Gardaí are investigating a fatal road traffic collision at Ballinaclough, Pallasgreen, Co. Limerick.

A man in his 30s was fatally injured when the motorcycle he was driving crashed into a wall at 3.30pm this afternoon.

There was no other vehicle involved in the crash.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene and his body has been removed to University Hospital Limerick where a post mortem examination will be carried out tomorrow.

The road at the scene of the collision is closed pending an examination of the area by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators, and diversions are in place.
