Talks to resolve postal dispute to continue today

Talks are due to resume later aimed at resolving the dispute at An Post that led to a four-day shutdown of postal services.

The Communications Workers Union is in negotiations with IO Systems - the company which operates An Post's sorting machinery.

The talks are being chaired by mediator Phil Flynn and are attempting to resolve a dispute over rosters and pay cuts.

It is understood the talks will resume this afternoon.
