The turnout in polling stations across the Shannonside region is reported to be at an average of 15% this lunchtime.

The highest turnout reported in Clare so far is in Kilfenora, at around 18%. Turnout was also up towards 15% in some boxes in Ennis.

The turnout in Roscommon Town in the last hour was reported at 14.5% and the turnout in the Athlone area was also around 15%.

Ballaghaderreen, Co Roscommon is reporting that turnout as being a little higher at 18%, but that is also normal for that area.

In Longford the turnout in the urban boxes so far is running at an average of 15% and more rural boxes is about 7%.

The Leitrim turnout is running between 14% and 15% - with one box showing a turnout of 15.4%.

Donegal turnout is averaging around 17% as of 1pm, Kildare is reporting it at 16.7%.

While in Dublin it is said to be at 20% mark.
