A man is due to appear in court charged in connection with an attack on three Gardaí in Louth.

A man is due to appear in court charged in connection with an attack on three Gardaí in Louth.

The incident occurred during a planned search of a house in Termonfeckin yesterday morning.

During the search three Gardaí received injuries and required hospital treatment at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. All three have since been released.

A 39-year-old man is to appear before the The Criminal Courts of Justice, Parkgate Street, Dublin this morning.
