Gardaí have recovered some items, including two cars and a boat, thought to have been stolen in burglaries in the Midlands.

Gardaí have recovered some items, including two cars and a boat, thought to have been stolen in burglaries in the Midlands.

Gardaí searched a house in Rassilagh, Oldcastle, Co. Meath today and found a 2015 Audi A5, 2010 Audi A4 Estate, a rigid inflatable boat and outboard motor, three ride on lawnmowers, a lawnmower and power tools.

The property is believed to have been stolen during burglaries in counties Meath and Westmeath.

One man in his 30s was arrested at the scene and is being detained at Kells Garda station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
