Lotto chiefs tight-lipped on location of winning Euromillions ticket

Speculation as to who is Ireland's newest multi-millionaire continues today.

Friday night's winning Euromillions ticket worth €86.7m was sold here.

However, the National Lottery is staying tight lipped about the specific location it was sold in, and are simply advising the winner to sign the back of the ticket and keep it in a safe place.

Eleanor Murphy, Information Officer with the National Lottery says they won't be revealing anymore details for now.

"Well the odds of winning Euromillions are 116 million to one and on Friday night someone in Ireland did just that," she said.

"At the moment all we can confirm is that the winning ticket for a jackpot of €86.7m was sold in Ireland."
