People with disabilities to speak at anti-abortion rally in Dublin today

Anti-abortion campaigners are holding a rally in Dublin this afternoon.

The group behind the gathering says they are concerned about what they see as a move toward legalising abortion in Ireland.

Rally for Life Committee member, Niamh Ui Bhriain said: "I think people are very passionate about this cause and I think people are very concerned about the move towards legalising abortion in Ireland, especially in regard to unborn children with disabilities

"So today it's a rally, we're going to see people with disabilities speaking on the stage, families with disabilities speaking on the stage, and really their message is that every life matters, and we shouldn't legalise abortion for children who have disabilities."
