Jennifer Zamparelli has revealed that she had her ‘tubes tied’, after the birth of her baby boy.
Speaking to VIP Magazine, the radio presenter said she gave birth to Enzo via C-section and shortly afterwards the surgeon performed a Tubal ligation - a surgical procedure for sterilization in which a woman's fallopian tubes are clamped or blocked and sealed.
My tubes are tied. I had a C-section and while the surgeon was down there – job done
The 39-year-old said she and her husband Lau didn’t want to have any more children as “life is busy enough with two and with work”.
The couple welcomed their daughter Florence in 2015 and their son Enzo last January.
Jen made her debut as a TV presenter in January as part of the RTÉ's 'Dancing with the Stars' and soon will start hosting her own morning show on 2fm from 9 am.
Speaking about her new show, she said that she had been 'working her ass off' for 10 years to get to this point.
2FM's new schedule, which will kick off next month, has received mix reactions online, which something Jennifer compared to when her original show, Breakfast Republic first went to air.
"When we started on 'Breakfast Republic' - myself, Bernard and Keith - there was some hatred towards us," she said.
"You should have seen the texts we got. But it grew from there to become one of the biggest breakfast shows in [the stations] demographic."
