Tributes have been pouring in on social media to the late artist Avicii today, marking the one year anniversary of his death.

Tributes have been pouring in on social media to the late artist Avicii today, marking the one year anniversary of his death.

The Swedish DJ, whose real name is Tim Bergling, was found dead in Muscat, Oman on April 20, 2018.

PM:AM Recordings announced that they would be releasing the music Avicii was working on prior to his death, with the first track entitled 'SOS'.

The lyrics begin:

Can you hear me, SOS?

Help me put my mind to rest."

PM:AM Recordings shared a video on twitter with the message: "Today marks one year since we lost our friend Tim, better known to most of you as Avicii. Honouring the wishes of Avicii's family, we are releasing the music Tim was working on before his passing. 'SOS' is the first track to be released from the album."

Tomorrowland festival also shared a touching video montage with the caption "Forever in our hearts... #avicii"
