Gardaí are trying to find the owner of a wedding ring that was found on a beach in Co Kerry.
A member of the public spotted the ring on Banna Beach and handed it into a lifeguard who then gave it into Tralee Garda Station.
The name 'Kasia' is printed on the ring with the date 27/7/2019.
Sergeant Tim O'Keeffe told Radio Kerry one of the leads they are following is a couple in the US whose wedding was scheduled for that date.
"Somebody found it on the strand, handed it into a lifeguard and the lifeguard brought it into us," Sgt O'Keeffe.
He hoped the public could help with the search.
"It's a gold ring. It has an inscription on the inside of it - Kasia 27/7/2019.
"So we've done our background, did a Google search, see could track down who they were.
"The people on Facebook have been very good. They've done there own detective work and there's a couple in Chicago that it may relate to.
"We have emailed them previously before putting up the post and we're still waiting for a response."
