A Kilkenny-based technical services firm has announced 25 new jobs.
TransferMate Global Payments, an Irish financial technical services company, say "phenomenal business growth" have doubled the numbers they had initially planned to recruit this year.
In January, they announced that they would be creating 25 new jobs at their base in Kilkenny, which were filled by April, and they are now hiring 25 more people to deal with the company’s ongoing growth.
The Irish-owned company provides alternative exchange rates and international transfer fees to clients around the world.
Barry Dowling, Managing Director at TransferMate.com, said: "We knew that 2015 was going to be a good year for our business. We are constantly expanding our customer base and as such we are expanding our team to keep pace with our growth.
"Last summer we celebrated transferring over $5bn in foreign currency transfers for clients.
"Consumer behaviour is changing and we are at the forefront of that change, driving the message that companies and individuals have a better, faster, more competitive alternative than the banks. All of which has brought us to a position whereby we need to add 25 people to our team."
TransferMate say the recruitment process is starting immediately to fill in-house and field-based sales roles.
Applicants are invited to apply via the company career page.
