Irish companies will now be able to sell to a leading US health specialist after a deal was signed with Northwell Health,
The Enterprise Ireland deal opens up US healthcare market to Irish firms.
The partnership agreement between Enterprise Ireland and Northwell Health was signed at an event attended by Taoiseach Enda Kenny in New York this evening.
Irish companies will have access to clinicians and key decision makers in a major health network, which will provide valuable insights in the products and services that are required in the market in the future
Describing the agreement as "highly significant", Mr Kenny said the partnership will "give Irish medical technologies and healthcare companies the opportunity to supply innovative products and services to one of the leading healthcare providers in the US".
