Irish Farmers' Journal readership up by 22%

The Irish Farmers Journal has attracted an extra 51,000 readers per week over the past 12 months according to the latest Joint National Readership Survey* (JNRS) figures published today.

The Irish Farmers Journal has attracted an extra 51,000 readers per week over the past 12 months according to the latest Joint National Readership Survey* (JNRS) figures published today.

The overall print readership of the paper has increased from 234,000 readers per week (2012/2013) to 285,000 readers per week (2013/2014).

Irish Country Living (a weekly consumer magazine published with the Irish Farmers Journal) also attracted an extra 47,000 readers over the past 12 months. Irish Country Living’s readership increased from 138,000 readers per week to 195,000 readers per week, an increase of 41% on the 2012/2013 JNRS figures.

“These latest readership figures are very encouraging," said Justin McCarthy, Editor of the Irish Farmers Journal said.

"We continue to invest heavily in our agricultural specialists and in our digital platforms. This model is proving robust and we would like to thank all our readers for their continued support.”
