Dublin's Web Summit conference is attracting some Hollywood names.

Actress Eva Longoria and model Lily Cole have been added to the lineup for the conference dubbed ‘Davos for Geeks’ by Bloomberg that takes place in November.

Former Desperate Housewives star Longoria is an Angel investor and Cole is attending in her guise as entrepreneur.

Other speakers announced today include Visual Effects specialist Tim Webber, who won the Oscar for his work on Gravity.

The web summit is expected to attract some 20,000 attendees from 100 countries.
